The 2014 ballot measure that requires all new waterfront development exceeding current height limits to be approved by voters is in front of a judge today after a challenge from the State Lands Commission. The City of San Francisco is arguing on behalf of the ballot measure, while the lands commission is seeking to have it nullified. The measure passed last year with 59 percent of the vote in an election with extremely low turnout. [SFGate]
