Parking Woes

The Board of Supervisors will consider a proposal to address the complaints of residents who are frustrated by the impact of construction work on parking in their neighborhoods. Suggested changes would require contractors to submit their parking plans, including the number of employees expected on-site and an examination of carpool or parking garage options, before receiving parking permits for construction sites. Street parking would also have to revert to public use by 4 p.m. every day if the space stays unused or work is completed for the day. [SF Examiner]
