When Google announced its proposal last week for a futuristic transformable campus located under glass canopies, a machine called the "Crabot" was a key part of the plans. The Crabot, according to the official document submitted by Google to Mountain View, is "a range of small flexible manageable cranes and robotic machines" that can move around things like walls and furniture to allow the buildings to change shape and layout.
