Bernal Heights-based artist Jon Fischer's latest piece is a humorous Precita Park sign that asks viewers to create their own slogans about the park by moving around magnetic phrase tiles. The tiles are situated on a sign modeled after official SF Park & Rec signage. Fischer's piece, now on view at the Mission's Asterisk Gallery, includes phrases like "without moving to the East Bay," "locally sourced," and "retweeting"—as in "Retweeting the same old enhanced interrogation techniques online (admit it, it's easier)."
