A large waterfront development site in Oakland's Jack London Square has been sold to developer Carmel Partners, which plans to build as many as 330 new rental units there. It would be one of the city's largest new projects, and Jack London Square-based KTGY Architects is on board for the design. Carmel Partners will take its proposal to Oakland's Planning Commission this summer and would like to start construction early next year. [SF Business Times]
