Adorable One-Bedroom TIC Lists for $579K in the Tenderloin

New, 4 comments

The tenancy-in-common building at 735 Geary Street was built back in 1922, and it still retains touches of elegance from that time period that begin at its pillar-surrounded front doors and carry into the well-kept lobby. Unit 104 is a scant 812 square feet, but is absolutely gorgeous, with period details, a compact renovated kitchen, and an oval-shaped bedroom. The unit just hit the market asking $579,000, or $712 per square.

Although 735 Geary sits right on the edge of the Tenderloin, the unit itself has leafy views of a back garden through its big, white-paned windows. The kitchen views of a brick wall are a bit less inspiring. The unit also has access to the outdoor space, which includes trees, flowers, and a few benches. HOA dues are affordable, at only $390 per month, although the apartment doesn't come with any parking, a definite downside in such an urban neighborhood.
