We've been expecting a retooled (and shortened) 8 Washington proposal any day now for the past several months, but a Superior Court judge has now overturned the project's prior approval from the San Francisco Port Commission. That approval relied on an environmental study that, the judge said, used incomplete traffic data. The setback doesn't kill the project entirely, but the bar for approval just got higher.
