Sunny Yellow Inner Sunset Home Drops Its Price to $2.35M

New, 3 comments

When the big yellow house at 1755 10th Avenue in the Inner Sunset went up for sale last summer, it looked for $1.995 million without much success. The house was pulled from the market after less than two months and underwent some updating and restaging in an attempt to garner more interest. It returned in November looking for $2.449 million, but a buyer still has not been found. The 3,046 square foot home just cut its ask down to $2.35 million as it looks for a new owner during the slow winter months.

It's hard to tell what buyers don't like about this place. There are four bedrooms, two and a half baths, and lots of lovely molding throughout. Perhaps it is the half-renovated state of the place that is the issue. There's probably not enough work to do to make a successful flip, but the kitchen still needs some upgrades and the master bathroom is filled with green marble. There is a gorgeous redwood deck out back and a big backyard, and a two-car garage provides plenty of parking. The current $772 square foot price seems like a bit of a steal for a buyer looking to scoop something up before the usually-crazed spring selling season begins.
