Rare Cole Valley Condo Filled With Period Details Asks $1.349M

In San Francisco, there are many fans of perfectly preserved period features, but those kinds of details can be hard to find in condos. A three-bedroom in Cole Valley that just came on the market asking $1.349 million is the exception to that rule, and it is wonderful from the neatly trimmed exterior and beyond. The living room boasts wood paneling, a built-in china hutch with leaded glass, box-beam ceilings, and a huge wooden fireplace. Even the lighting fixtures fit in. Although all that wood makes the room a bit dark, the intact detailing makes up for it.

The kitchen was remodeled sometime before this place last sold in 2006, and it was given wooden accents. Its long, narrow layout is a bit odd, but there's room for an eat-in table, and the washer and dryer are tucked behind cabinets. Period details show up again in the master bedroom, where another wood-and-tile fireplace is the focal point. There's a shared garden out back, and the condo comes with one parking spot in the garage.
