San Francisco Floating Home Channels Industrial Loft Style

For a house-hunting San Francisco couple who got outbid on typical properties on land, the solution finally came in the form of a designer floating home docked in a small canal on the eastern end of the city. The new three-floor, two-bedroom abode, designed by local architect Robert Nebolon and just spotlighted on Dwell, comes off more spacious than some recent floating houses we've seen and it's certain got a trendy loft-like look to it. The sawtooth roof, for example, creates soaring spaces that are showered in sunlight from tons of warehouse-style windows.
