Piggybacking on Warriors Arena, Glossy Madrone Condo Hikes Price By 75 Percent

New, 5 comments

When the Madrone by Bosa condo building started selling its Mission Bay units back in 2011, the San Francisco real estate market looked very different than it does today. Since then, prices have shot through the roof, Mission Bay has become one of the city's hottest neighborhoods, and another Bosa development, Arden, sold out in no time last year. Unit 1405 at the Madrone, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo, was first sold by the developer in September 2012 for $1.885 million. The condo is now back on the market asking $3.29 million, a whopping $1.405 million price gain in less than two and a half years.

The condo is a corner unit with with floor-to-ceiling windows, views of the city, and glossy finishes. Its asking price comes in at $1,713 per square, pricey even for this market. Of course, it also comes with the host of Madrone amenities, including a gorgeous outdoor pool, a billiard room, a gym, a screening room, and a common professional kitchen. The listing also heralds the most exciting upcoming addition to the neighborhood, the planned Manica Architecture-designed Warriors arena, and even includes its renderings in the slideshow. Will all that be enough to let the apartment pull off a price jump of nearly 75 percent?
