Tech Crunch

Three big tech companies—Pinterest, Twitter, and Stripe—are all in the market for hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial space, and their decisions could drive the leasing market over the next couple of years. Twitter already leases 760,000 square feet in Mid-Market, but is considering Mission Bay for an even bigger expansion now that Uber has chosen the neighborhood for its headquarters. Proposition M, which limits the amount of new office space built in San Francisco, is forcing companies to think about space needs far in advance. [SF Business Times; previously]
