Structural issues at CCSF's Civic Center campus at 750 Eddy Street, built in 1910, are so severe that the building has been deemed uninhabitable and at risk of imminent collapse in the case of an earthquake. An August report by Concord-based TBP Architecture prescribes a $13 million renovation or a complete teardown to remedy the situation. CCSF waited to close the building until officials had a relocation plan in place. [SF Appeal; SF Examiner]
