Commercial Real Estate Wire

Pembroke Real Estate has bought 100 California Street, a 15-story Financial District tower that's currently home to Traveler's Insurance and Samsung, for an undisclosed price. Though the building is already 83 percent leased, Pembroke plans to sink some dough into renovating lobbies and other public areas in the hope of attracting monied tech tenants. Perhaps the new owners were inspired by the tech-luring renos over at 650 California and the Bank of America building. [SF Business Times; previously]
