The data-vis whizzes at MIT's Social Computing Group are back with a rather unsavory set of data points: the number of rodent incident reports collected in San Francisco between January 2010 and July 2014. The good news is that rats don't love us as much as they love, say, New York; San Franciscans spotted fewer than one rat per day in the entire period, more during warmer weather. The Mission wins the rat race, as it were, with 12.35 percent of the complaints, followed by the Bayview, with 5.94 percent. [You Are Here]
