San Francisco frequently places in the top 10 finalists for Cintas' annual America's Best Restroom contest, but this year it seems our fair lavatories have been rebuffed. The Macy's sixth-floor ladies' lounge made the cut in 2009, Gitane restaurant was nominated in 2012, and last year the Mission boutique Viracocha brought honor to this city's good name. Even Curbed sister cities Chicago and Philly are respresenting with the American Girl Palace and Longwood Gardens, respectively, so we've honestly got to wonder whether this competition has gone down the you-know-what.
