What's wrong with 2837 Greenwich Street? This contemporary three-bedroom Cow Hollow home came on the market back in April asking $5.495 million, which is very in line with Cow Hollow prices. The home's backyard zen garden and rooftop putting green were enough to make our list of the homes for sale with the most amazing outdoor spaces. Plus, the property is only half a block from the Presidio. Buyers, however, have not been enticed. Over the summer the house took its first price cut down to $4.94 million. This week, it suffered yet another cut, to $4.7 million, which is $795K lower than the original ask.
It's now been totally restaged: The stodgy oriental rugs and grandfather clocks have been disappeared in favor of furniture that better matches the home's contemporary interiors. Another issue may be the overabundance of maple cabinetry, which is listed as a selling point but comes across as a bit overbearing.
