Chinatown Crowd

An expansion of St. Mary's Square approved way back during the first tech boom is about to finally move forward, but community advocates who initially fought for the park are worried that it will cater more to a Financial District lunch crowd than to Chinatown locals. The park expansion was part of a deal to build a new office building at 350 Bush and will take the form of a rooftop park atop 500 Pine, another office building by the same developer. Both buildings are about to break ground. [SF Examiner/Photo courtesy of Heller Manus]
