Alert! Curbed SF Is Seeking Two Freelance Contributors

Attention! Curbed SF is on the hunt for two talented freelance bloggers who know and love the Bay Area and want to write all about it—one to cover San Francisco and one to keep tabs on the East Bay, particularly Oakland and Berkeley. If you're the rare unicorn who's knowledgeable about both San Francisco and the East Bay, that's a huge plus. This is a freelance gig; we're looking for contributors who can write three to five posts a week.

Applicants must be great, quick writer/researchers and serious nerds about neighborhoods, real estate, architecture, transportation, design, parks, photography, history, and/or urban planning. We're looking for folks who can watch the housing market and new developments of all kinds with an eye that is critical and a spirit that is playful. If you want to write about SF, you must live in SF; ditto goes for the East Bay (and to any unicorns reading this, one or the other will do).

Interested? Send an email to sally@curbed.com with a paragraph about yourself, a paragraph about why you'd like the job, and anything else you think would grab our interest (past writing experience, perhaps—and/or links to your blog, clips, or Twitter account). Put "SF freelance contributor" or "Oakland freelance contributor" in the subject line. No resumes, please. If we're into it, we'll respond quickly with more details. (If you're employed in the real estate industry, alas, we can't use you. But we still love you.) Thank you!
