This Soulless Noe Bunker Will Not Be Starting Any Bidding Wars

New, 11 comments

Noe Valley's 1145 Douglass Street may have one of the uglier facades in San Francisco. The rough gray exterior recalls some sort of bunker preparing for war, with just a few windows breaking up the concrete. The home's interiors are a bit fresher but lack any sort of soul with their cream-colored walls and blond wood. Several rooms have bright windows with views across the hills, but other bedrooms appear to have no windows at all. The only real touch of character is some dated red carpeting that makes an appearance across several rooms, most notably one of the master bedrooms. The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and is asking $2.195 million, which seems like a high price to pay to live in a bunker.
