An aerial dance troupe will take to the side of a building in the Tenderloin for the next few weeks with the goal of turning the conversation about homelessness in a more personal direction. The idea for the production, called Multiple Mary and Invisible Jane, first came to choreographer Jo Kreiter when she was working on a show on the rooftop of the Tenderloin's Renoir Hotel and would often see homeless women in the shadows below. Kreiter accompanied the new production with the voices of San Francisco homeless women who were interviewed about their lives on the streets. [SF Examiner]
