Bernalwood's Todd Lappin hauled himself and a camera over to Marin Muni's Marin Division to tour the boneyard there, and he came back with a stunning photoset of derelict streetcars, which Medium has here. Most of the old vehicles are streamlined PCCs hailing from between 1940 and 1952-ish. Vandals got to some of the fleet before they made it to the boneyard, but by now their graffiti is just as zombiefied as the cars themselves—many of which, Lappin writes, "survive as spooky time capsules of the day when they were removed from service."
