According to this listicle on Redfin, the Marina is San Francisco's top neighborhood for millennials—somewhat dubiously, we might add. Not that Chestnut Street isn't routinely blockaded by drunken holders of bachelor's degrees in flip-flops, but we find the criteria so broad that they make most of San Francisco sound like a millennial neighborhood. Leaping into strangers' cars, thinking they're Ubers? Check. One-hour-long brunch lines? Try two. Overeducated bartenders, tech employees, gluten-free food? Check, check, check. The Marina ranks fifth in the US on Redfin's list, behind New York's Murray Hill and DC's Dupont Circle, proving nothing much at all, save that age is but a marketing concept. [Redfin]
