Uber Sued

Yesterday the National Federation of the Blind filed a suit against Uber alleging that some UberX drivers have illegally refused to carry passengers' service animals and, in one allegation, put a blind passenger's dog in the trunk of his car. The ride-sharing service responded that its policy is to remove drivers who refuse to carry service animals. According to the suit, at least 30 such incidents have taken place in the US, and the claimants are seeking an injunction against Uber to stop the alleged practice. [SF Examiner]
