Monday's fire at the Renoir Hotel sent $1.2 million up in flames, causing about $1 million in damage to the 1909 Renaissance Revival hotel and another $200,000 in property loss. When the three-alarm fire broke out, the Kor Group was in the middle of a $40 million revamp in collaboration with celebrity interior designer Kelly Wearstler.
