Millionaires' Club

The Bay Area had a record-setting number of homes selling for $1M or more in the second quarter of this year. 5,734 single-family homes or condos in the nine-county region hit the million-dollar mark between April and June, surpassing the previous high of 5,699 way back in the second quarter of 2005. The stand-out quarter came amid a general high-end home sales recovery in California, with million-dollar-plus home sales throughout the state hitting their highest number since 2007. [DQNews]
