Big Fancy House Porn Returns Early with $8.6M Cow Hollow Ask

New, 1 comment

San Francisco's big fancy house market has been in its usual summer lull, with only a smattering of top-end homes heading to sale in the past few months. But as Labor Day hits, that summer rest may be ending, with Cow Hollow's 2672 Filbert Street the first to take advantage of the change in seasons. The 5,219-square-foot home landed on the market this week asking $8.6 million, which comes in at a rather bovine $1,648 per square. The house itself is mostly just a nice, pretty big home. It has balconies with views out to the Golden Gate and the Palace of Fine Arts and a very leafy back garden. There are five bedrooms, six-point-five bathrooms, and an elevator. Its interiors, however, are fairly whitewashed—perhaps the result of a down-to-the-studs renovation back in 2005.
