In what probably won't come as a shock to many, new research by the Business Journals has determined that San Jose and San Francisco rank among the nation's 10 most affluent metros, coming in fifth and sixth, respectively. In the study, which culls data from the Census Bureau's 2012 American Community Survey, the Bay Area trails Washington, DC, and, um, Los Alamos, New Mexico. [SF Business Times]
