Small Goes Big

The smallest building in Union Square just sold for $4.3 million, a near-record price per square foot. 69 Maiden Lane is only 1,800 feet square, putting its purchase price at $2,400 per square—just shy of the neighborhood's peak. Currently the building houses Bistro 69 Café but will be vacated within a few months for an as-yet-unknown new use. [SF Business Times]
