Someone in Berkeley posted a Craigslist ad for what is surely the world's tiniest rental. At $2,000/month and only nine square feet, this "spacious, carpeted," er, micro-unit "with lots of windows and great light" is, yes indeedy, the trunk of the poster's car. Nine square feet—though it works out to a fabulous $222 per square—sounds stingy to us. Surely they must mean cubic! Even the latest Fiat has 9.5 cubic feet. Oh, and the location?
