Fremont is already branded by Tesla thanks to a huge logo painted on the side of its factory, but now the electric car company is seeking approvals to install a giant billboard as well. The ad is notable because it would block out views of the factory from I-880, offering Tesla—a company that doesn't usually advertise—additional privacy. The proposed billboard would measure a truly enormous 200 by 30 feet, way larger than a normal 48-by-14-foot city billboard. [SF Business Times]
