The San Francisco Business Times created this infographic that compares the size of the Bay Area's most notable earthquakes. Along with known fatalities and injuries, the paper also tallied up each quake's damage bill in today's dollars. The 1906 earthquake and fire dominates the map, with $10 billion in damage. But the Loma Prieta was the most expensive, ultimately costing the region $11 billion. [SF Business Times]
