From the street, all is well with the placid white late-late Victorian duplex on Arguello Boulevard in the Inner Richmond. Inside, however, the bathroom appears to be in the throes of a midlife crisis. And judging from the wear on the wallpaper liberally applied shelving adhesive (?), it's been doing that since the 80s, or even the 70s. Surely there's a gold lamé bathrobe hanging just out of sight? Time and a bathtub's worth of existential angst have worn away the finish on those claw feet, but surely you can bring 'em back to life, Tiger! The ask? A hot, hot $1.65M. Er, rawr!
The rest of the house is downright Puritan by comparison and in very good condition. Oh, right: It's a six-bedroom, three-bath, 3,845-square-foot duplex that's been lived in as one home for who knows how long. Redfin is scant on history; no previous sale price is forthcoming. The only real question is which bathroom is this? And when can we see the other two?
