Parkmerced, the massive 8,900-unit development planned for a 152-acre site near Lake Merced, has survived a legal challenge and will move forward. Opponents of the project filed a suit claiming that the project should not have been approved based on what they argued were inconsistencies with city policies and a flawed environmental review. A three-judge panel disagreed with the challengers and gave developers the green light. [SF Business Times]
