The approval process for a new 72-condo building at 490 South Van Ness has taken four years so far, and the Planning Commission made it a little bit longer yesterday by pushing a final decision out to September 3. The new date is meant to give the developers time to do more community outreach, specifically among parents from Marshall Elementary School. Despite the delay, commissioners seemed to be leaning toward allowing the project to move forward. [Mission Local]
