Yesterday, when we reported that a new food hall will be taking up residence in the old Hollywood Billiards space near Sixth and Market, we took a guess that this latest development spelled the end of the 186 units of housing that were proposed just three months ago. Developer War Horse, in collaboration with Tidewater Capital, still plans to tear down Hollywood Billiards; the food hall is merely a tasty interim use. SCB Architects are on board to design the new 13-story residential building. [Curbed inbox]
