Just three months ago, preliminary plans were submitted to tear down the old Hollywood Billiards building near Sixth and Market and replace it with a 13-story, 186-unit apartment building. Now those plans may be off the table with the announcement that a huge new food hall will be taking over the structure that currently occupies the site.
