SANTA CLARA—Football calls for snacks and beer, and the menu at the 49ers' new Levi's Stadium will definitely make you hungry. We've got photos and all the intel on what they'll be serving (with some cool options like bao, curries, and vegan food).

FINANCIAL DISTRICT—In our gloomy gray weather, the next best thing to a tropical getaway is leafy new bar Natoma Cabana. It opened yesterday with housemade Fireball shots and Palomas aplenty. Take a peek.

MISSION—Also a newcomer to the scene this week: Loló Cevicheria, the spinoff of Valencia's popular Loló. Head to 22nd Street for your tacos tropical, sangria, and crazy-quirky decor fix.

MISSION—Beast and the Hare is on its way out, as the Daniel Patterson Group has scooped it up to serve as a showcase for former Outerlands chef Brett Cooper.

MISSION—Beer nerds, listen up: new brewery Citizen Fox is on its way to the Mission, and you can be part of the brewing team with a 10-month internship under a Master Cicerone. Or you can just drink house beers and snack on food from a Beretta alum.

NAPA—If you can afford to splash out this Christmas, check out one of Meadowood's legendary 12 Days of Christmas dinners, studded with star guest chefs from around the globe. Here's who's coming to cook.

INNER SUNSET—In a big year for closures of old restaurants, the Sunset's nearly 60-year-old Villa Romana may be the oldest victim yet.

HAYES VALLEY—A local bartending veteran, most recently behind the stick at Sauce and Absinthe, was tragically killed in a motorcycle crash.
