Pretty much no one thinks that venture capitalist Tim Draper's Six Californias ballot initiative will succeed, but the identity crisis that would be let loose by the six-way split of our state is sure fun to name. Disappointed with the meh suggestions floating around so far (Jefferson, Silicon Valley), the Bold Italic is nominating alternatives. In their naming system, Central California becomes West Dakota, and Southern California is simply known as Doug. [The Bold Italic]
