Greenmapping

If you're looking for a street in San Francisco with lots of trees, a new map will help you find it. This visualization from the Social Computing Group at MIT's Media Lab shows the approximate amount of greenery and plant life on streets across the city. While the greenbelts near the Presidio and Golden Gate Park are unsurprising, the map also shows pockets of green in areas from the Bayshore to the Sunset. [Youarehere]
