Last week the Planning Commission voted to approve a proposed city ordinance that would require would-be residential developers to disclose their record of discrimination against LGBT tenants. The largely symbolic measure applies to buildings with 10 or more units but, strangely, would prevent the Planning Commission from factoring past housing discrimination into its decision. The ordinance still has to pass at the Board of Supervisors. [SF Examiner]
