The latest interactive map of San Francisco breaks down median building ages across the city. Many areas of the city were built in the early twentieth century, with swaths of newer development near the Great Highway, which is mid-century and in SoMa, which is newer. Some of the oldest buildings are through the city's center in neighborhood's like NoPa and the Mission. [National Trust for Historic Preservation]
