Bayview's Historic Quinn House Sells for $401K Over Asking

New, 2 comments

The Quinn House, built in 1870, is an official San Francisco landmark and one of the oldest buildings in the Bayview. The house went on the market in late May for the first time in 35 years. Despite a wild paint job that includes a red-roofed dining room and a kitchen overflowing with junk, the house just sold for $1.3 million, which is $401K more than its $899,000 ask. It was in contract just two weeks after coming on the market. The house has five bedrooms, gardens on every side, an unfinished attic and four fireplaces. Expect the new owners to get to work fixing up the inside, although any changes to the exterior will require Historic Preservation Commission approval because of the landmark status. · Historic Quinn House on the Market for the First Time in 35 Years [Curbed SF]
