Lucas Lost

Chicago has reportedly won the George Lucas Museum, beating out San Francisco as host. San Francisco wanted the museum to be built on Seawall Lot 330 just across the Embarcadero from Piers 30-32, while Chicago offered up a lakefront location. The awarding of the museum to Chicago hasn't been announced officially yet, as it's awaiting a board vote tomorrow, but Chicago news sources are reporting that it's a done deal. [Chicago Tribune]
