The building boom in SoMa continues with a new project at 119 7th Street. Proposed is a new eight-story, 85' tall, residential apartment building with 39 units (17 2BRs and 22 1BRs), ground floor retail, 24 parking spaces, and roof deck. They'll be paying the affordable housing fee, so all the units in the building will be market rate. There hasn't been much opinion one way or the other about the design by Architecture International, but Planning staff is recommending approval. The project goes to the Planning Commission tomorrow, and without opposition it looks like a go.
