New Condos Will Liven Up Desolate Block of Potrero Avenue

New, 10 comments

Over on Potrero Avenue, a site crammed between a gas station and a suburban-style McDonald's will soon transform in to a sparkling new condo tower. The project, known simply as 346 Potrero, is being developed by Trumark Urban, the company behind Amero on Van Ness and the conversion of the former Dugoni School of Dentistry in Pacific Heights. Once finished, the building will feature 72 new residential units, 16 percent of which will be Below-Market-Rate, as well as ground floor retail fronting Potrero Avenue. The tower's immediate surroundings are pretty bleak, but the project should hopefully breathe some life in to this block in the eastern Mission. On the plus side, future residents of 346 Potrero won't have to look far to satisfy their late-night Big Mac cravings.
