Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour San Francisco's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. This week, we're investigating apartments listed for $4,000/month. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ In Bernal Heights, $3,950/month gets you a loft-style one-bedroom apartment that comes with a separate backyard cottage complete with skylights and a fireplace. There is garage parking, laundry and tons of storage. Pets are welcome, and the loft can come furnished or unfurnished.
↑ For $3,995 you can snag a 3-bed, 1.5 bath apartment with decorative fireplaces in the Inner Richmond. It's currently being remodeled and it looks like the new look will include lots of fresh white paint. The corner living room could be used as a fourth bedroom if needed. There's a dishwasher and laundry onsite, but pets aren't allowed and parking is street only.
↑ In the heart of the Marina is a 1200 square foot one-bedroom asking $3,995. It has hardwood floors, a granite kitchen and a formal dining room along with a massive living room. There are multiple walk-in closets and laundry on-site. No pets are allowed, and parking is an extra fee.
↑ In Pacific Heights, there is a 2-bedroom for $3,995. Appliances and new and it is pet-friendly, although it appears devoid of any character. There's laundry in the building and it is only a block away from Lafayette Park.
