Alameda Conversion

New, 1 comment

In Alameda, the historic Del Monte warehouse could be on its way to becoming 309 new lofts and apartments and 19,000 square feet of retail. The developer behind the project aims to attract people who want to be close to the water by creating a "waterfront playground" along the Oakland Estuary. The warehouse will be transformed by BAR Architects and could break ground as soon as mid-2015. [SF Business Times]
