The 50-foot tall rope sculpture "Legs" that has been hanging in the Embarcadero BART station for nearly 40 years will finally be removed next week. The sculpture weighs 7,000 pounds and used to be orange and white, although it is now dark and caked in grime. "Legs," which won Curbed SF's Worst Public Art Contest in 2011, will be returned to its artist, Barbara Shawcroft and will not be replaced. [SFGate, Previously]
