Neighbors Not Happy with the Chapel and the Vestry on Valencia

New, 1 comment

Back in 2012 Preservation Hall West at the Chapel and its associated restaurant the Vestry opened in the Mission. The restaurant had an outdoor area, and its approvals for opening were contingent on building a sound wall, restricting hours, and checking back in with the Planning Commission to see how things were going. Fast forward to now, and neighbors are not happy. Since the beginning of business operations, staff has received emails from neighbors with concerns about excessive noise and deliveries coming late at night. If the Planning Commission decides that they're not in compliance, they can request that this project be scheduled for a public hearing again to modify the conditions or to revoke the approvals.
